Motorola has done a commendable job when it comes to latest Android updates for its handsets, not just one, but most of them — Moto X, Moto G or Moto E.
For those of you residing in the UK, rocking a Moto G, there’s a piece of good news for you. The latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is rolling out for the Moto G.
The update is rolling out for users tied to Vodafone UK over-the-air, bumping the version to 210.12.40. It’s not a very big update, and the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat update mostly comes with several security fixes, and improvements. In addition to the basic bug fixes, the update comes with an updated phone dialer, as well as the ability to pause video recording, and enables Motorola Alert application download as well.
The update is rolling out as we speak, and is rolling out for handsets tied to Vodafone. There’s no word about the roll out of the update on other carriers, but we’ll update you as soon as its available.
In the meantime, check if you’ve received the update and let us know using the comments below. Do note the update process is gradual, and may take a few days to roll out.
