Last month, Xiaomi Mi3 went on sale in India for INR 13,999. The handset was sold out twice since its launch last month, first in 38 minutes while the second batch ran out in mere five seconds. The company didn’t announce the number of units which were available for sale, but mentioned over 20,000 units have already been sold.
The third sale day will kick off tomorrow at 2PM, and now, the vendor has announced that 15,000 units of the Xiaomi Mi3 would go on sale tomorrow.
This time, the buying process is a bit different, requiring users to register for first before they can try their luck in buying one. Surprisingly, there are over 100,000 registration so far and only 15,000 lucky ones will be able to get their hands on the device once the sale begins.
Xiaomi Mi3 boasts top-of-the-line specifications at an extremely affordable price. The handset rocks a 5-inch display sporting a 1080p resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC on board with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. There’s a 13MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, a 3,050 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat in the Indian version.
The handset will go on sale tomorrow, and we’ll update you if the company manages to make another record. What’s your guess about the sell out time?
