Motorola did a commendable job when it comes to software updates. As soon as new operating system comes out from Google, the company is usually one of the first one to roll it out for its handsets, even for their budget-friendly handsets.
Recently, the company rolled out the new Moto X with some new software additions. For those of you who are wondering if they will ever make it to the existing handsets, you be glad to know that they will as long as the hander allows it.
Motorola’s Vice President of Product Management Punit Soni said on Google+ while introducing the new devices that new software will come to all existing devices as long as they are supported, which includes the Moto X, Moto G and the Moto E. We’re hoping it will not take too much time for Motorola to push an update with the new features. We’ll update you as soon as it starts rolling out.
“I hope you like our line-up. The Specs are great and we have all new and improved software features across the board which make these devices work even better. And better still, all that software will come to all our existing users too (as long as the Hardware allows it),” said Motorola’s Punit Soni.
Google is also expected to roll out the Android 5.0 L update later this year, and we’re hoping Motorola will be one of the first ones to roll it out for its devices.
