Facelifted Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic Gain New Limited Edition

ot that automakers really need any specific excuse to release a special edition model of an existing car, but we gather that they find it more appropriate to give a reason when they do, regardless if it makes any sense…
Here's Renault's excuse for the launch of its new "Limited limited edition" (no seriously, that's how the French carmaker worded it) version of itsrecently updated compact minivans: "To celebrate the advent of spring, Renault has released ‘Limited’ limited-edition versions of New Renault Scénic and New 7-Seat Grand Scénic."
The…Spring-seasoned versions of the five-seater Scenic and the longer seven-seater Grand Scenic are built on the Expression equipment level adding some extra styling and equipment features.
These include a new set of 16-inch dark metal Eptius alloy wheels, body color side protective mouldings, extra-tinted rear glass and dark metal door mirror housings, plus longitudinal roof bars in the case of the Grand Scenic. A sliding central stowage console, rear parking sensors and electrically-folding door mirrors complete the upgrades over the regular Expression models.
The Scenic Limited edition is are offered in Europe with two diesels, the dCi 95 and dCi 110, and the Energy TCe 115 turbocharged petrol, while the Grand Scenic Limited only with the dCi 110. The two models will be available for sale until the end of June.
