Acura Sprinkles Some Extra Amenities to 2013 TL Sedan and Calls it a Special Edition

While you could give a car featuring more extras than another model in the same range a new trim grade name, we guess using the "Special Edition" moniker sounds more alluring to buyers.
In Acura's case, it's the 2013 TL sedan that gains the "Special Edition" tag with this version slotting between the standard front wheel-drive (FWD) TL ($35,905) and the SH-AWD ($39,455) and the (FWD) TL with Technology Package ($39,635). It is available for order now with a suggested retail price (MSRP) of $37,405 that excludes an options and destination charge of $895.
The TL Special Edition sports 10-spoke, 18-inch alloy wheels, a color-matched deck lid spoiler and trunk-mounted Special Edition badging. It is offered in four exterior colors, namely the Bellanova White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Graphite Luster Metallic and Silver Moon Metallic, all of which are matched with a leather-appointed Ebony interior with contrast stitching.
Standard amenities include a keyless access system with push-button start, power front seats and moonroof, a 276-watt audio system with eight speakers, dual-zone, dual-mode automatic climate control system, and a Multi-Information Display (MID) on the center cluster.

Acura Releases Prices as Well as New Photo Gallery and Video on 2014 MDX

Acura is moving fast with its third generation MDX, as two months after its world premiere at the New York Auto Show in March, and about a month before sales start in July, the Japanese automaker announced pricing for the seven-seater luxury SUV.
If you find Acura's newly design 2014 MDX interesting, you'll be able to get into one in the U.S. for as low as $42,290 for the front-wheel drive (FWD) model, with prices rising as high as $56,505 for the all-wheel drive "SH-AWD" version with all the goods. Keep in mind, none of the prices above (or in the list below) include an $895 delivery and handling fee.
A 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine producing 290-horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. of peak torque, linked to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission, powers all 2014 MDXs.
The new two-wheel drive MDX is rated 20mpg city, 28mpg highway and 23 mpg combined, a 28-percent increase in combined fuel economy versus the previous SH-AWD, which was the only one available in the previous model. Acura states that the 2014 MDX with SH-AWD returns 18mpg city, 27mpg highway and 21mpg combined, representing a 17-percent improvement over its predecessor.
Among other standard amenities included in all MDX models are a smart entry keyless access system, audio system and an array of safety features such as a driver’s knee airbag, as well as driver- and front-passenger front airbags, driver- and front-passenger side airbags, and three-row side curtain airbags.

Acura Shows NSX Concept in a New Red Shade at the Auto China 2012

Silver is a color preferred by many car designers when it comes to presenting their work at motor shows as the neutral shade allows viewers to digest all the lines and details of any given model.

However, having already exhibited the new NSX Concept in this color at both its world premiere at the Detroit Motor Show in January and itsEuropean debut (with Honda badges) at the Geneva Salon in March, Acura decided to surprise visitors at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing by displaying the hybrid sports car in a more passionate red finish.
Acura said that the new NSX will be launched in China after it is goes on sale in the U.S. within the next three years.
In concept form, the NSX sports a mid-mounted naturally aspirated V6 engine aided by the firm's new Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) hybrid system that incorporates three electric motors.
