HTC has launched a handful devices this year, not just high-end but many others that caters the need of those looking for a decent entry-level or mid-range devices.
Rumors hinted that HTC is working on the gigantic HTC One Max M8 phablet, also rumored as the HTC One M8 Prime previously, which may launch in the coming months. According to a new report, the alleged device will come with a Snapdragon 805 chipset, carrying a similar design as the current HTC One M8.
The folks at TK Tech News report that HTC One Max M8 may is “on the way.” The device is rumored to come with a quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset, and surprisingly, HTC may ditch the not-so-accurate fingerprint sensor from the device. The best part is that it will look similar to the gorgeous HTC One M8 in every possible way.
The device is also said to come with a display size bigger than 5.5-inch, which means that it will be a direct Galaxy Note 4 competitor — if it’s real. Other specifications are not confirmed at the moment, but we can expect high-end internals such as 3GB of RAM, 32GB expandable storage, Duo camera and Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system.
There’s no word from HTC about the existence of any such device so take this rumor with a grain of salt. HTC has an event coming up on August 19th, but the company is expected to launch the Windows Phone version of the HTC One M8 there. We’ll update you as soon as we get any other information.
