Smart Builds the ForTwo BoConcept, Prices It from €14,490 in Germany

Remember the Smart ForTwo BoConcept study? Well, Daimler has decided there is a market for a ForTwo designed by Danish urban interior design specialist BoConcept and will build a limited edition model that can now be ordered as a coupe and cabrio and will arrive in European at dealerships this November.
Available with electric drive (55 kW) or with the 1.0-liter gasoline engine with two power levels (70 hp and 83 hp respectively) the Smart ForTwoBoConcept starts from €14,490 ($18,890) in Germany for the base 70-hp model.
The car’s highlight is no doubt the interior, which features contrasting colors: the leather-look seats are tobacco brown, with a grey fabric insert and double stitching in the colour light lemon. The door trim, instrument panel and kneepads are also highlighted by the contrast between the tobacco brown leather look and the lemon-coloured stitching.
The same shade of yellow can be found outside on the door mirror caps and on the hub covers of the alloy wheels. The bodypanels are painted in matt crystal white, while the tridion safety cell and the alloy wheels have an anthracite look. The BoConcept logos in the mirror triangles serve to further highlight the car.
Based on the Passion equipment line, the Smart ForTwo Edition BoConcept comes with the electric windows, air conditioning with automatic temperature control, and a panoramic roof with sunblind.
As part of their cooperation, Smart and BoConcept also released a home collection called Smartville, which includes a modular sofa that has the exact same length as the Smart ForTwo (2.69m), a lounge chair, a coffee table and even table clock identical to the one found in the car.
