Smash Cup Reusable Coffee Cup Hits Kickstarter

Coffee drinkers that like to drink while out and about or on the way to and from work, might like this new reusable coffee cup called Smash Cup that has been designed by Ben Melinger based in New York.
The Smash Cup has been created to provide a lightweight, collapsable coffee cup that can be reused again and again, saving the environment in the process. Watch the promotional video after the jump to learn more.
The Smash Cup project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise $10,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production. It measures 5 inches tall when expanded and just 1.75 when collapsed and is constructed from food grade BPA free materials.
“Smash Cup is an ultra-portable, sealed travel cup you keep with you – great for hot drinks (like coffee and tea) and cold ones. When you’re not drinking, it collapses into a compact, liquid-tight disk, saving you space in your backpack, handbag, briefcase or jacket pocket.”
Reusable Coffee Cup
“Since it’s reusable, it eliminates the waste of disposable coffee cups (A typical coffee drinking office worker throws away about 500 cups every year!), and you’ll be able to take part in bring-your-own-mug discounts at coffee shops.  It’s a no-brainer to choose a green product when it makes your life easier and saves you money.”
So if you think Smash Cup is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarterwebsite now to make a pledge and help the neat reusable coffee cup become a reality.
