Samsung’s Curved TVs have been available for a while now, and the company has launched a new accessory for their curved TV range, a new Samsung curved soundbar.
Samsung will be showing off their new Samsung curved soundbar later this week at IFA 2014, and it is designed to work with their 55 inch and 65 inch Curved UHD Tvs.
The Curved Soundbar has a slim width of 42 mm and a curvature radius of 4,200 mm – the same curvature of the Samsung Curved UHD TVs – and delivers a greater sense of curve by surrounding the viewer and providing a truly powerful listening experience. The Curved Soundbar is an evolution of premium design, crafted with a finely brushed aluminum finish that highlights Samsung’s unique premium identity and perfectly matches Samsung’s 55 and 65 inch Curved TVs.
In addition to its design, the Curved Soundbar also delivers immersive sound and user-friendly functions. Featuring 8.1 channel support, the Curved Soundbar adds two speaker units on the both of sides, delivering sound from three directions, thereby producing more spatial and overwhelming surround sound. Samsung’s proprietary technology provides more detailed sound, with amped up mid and low-range capabilities for improved fidelity and minimized sound distortion. Users can control these features through Samsung TV remote controls and by connecting the Soundbar to the Samsung TV wirelessly via “TV SoundConnect.”
